

Tirupathi, Mana News, 19.04.2025: As per the Andhra Pradesh Government’s directive, the third Saturday of every month is observed as Swachh Andhra Day under the Swarna Andhra program; the theme for April 19th, 2025, is ‘Awareness on E-Waste Management. Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board organized a significant awareness program on E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 and Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022, at Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited, Karakambadi facility on today as a program sponsor. The initiative aimed to promote responsible disposal and recycling of electronic and battery waste in alignment with environmental sustainability goals. The event was inaugurated by Smt. Narapureddy Maurya, I.A.S., Commissioner, Tirupati Municipal Corporation, in the presence of Mr. S.S.S Murali, SE & Mr. Rajashekar, EE from the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board, Mr. C Narasimhulu Naidu, COO Amara Raja Energy and Mobility Limited and the participants from industrial representatives from Tirupati region, emphasizing the collective responsibility towards environmental stewardship.
